SHEER and Harsh Collective are pleased to present The Perfect View, a pop-up exhibition curated by Bianca Jean-Pierre of SHEER Worldwide. The opening reception will take place on Thursday, May 2nd from 7 to 9 p.m. at 133 Eldridge St, New York, NY 10002. 

The group exhibition at Harsh Collective will feature more than 25 photographs from a group of multicultural women and non-binary photographers. The featured artists include Lewis Derogene, Tianna Howard, Esther Lee, Yaemi Matias, Nabila Wirakusumah, and Rashida Zagon.

Yaemi Matias’s work is a visual journey honoring identity, ancestry, and the sacred connection between self and nature. Rooted in the vibrant essence of the Dominican Republic and shaped by the experiences of growing up in a first-generation immigrant household, this collection embraces the richness of culture, the beauty of imperfection, and the transformative power of imagery.

The selected works, captured between Miami and New York, blend personal and commissioned photography, depicting a diverse range of artists and muses. Each image is a celebration—a luminous revelation of self, a moment of empowerment, and a testament to our collective existence. Through bold colors, lush tropical elements, and intimate storytelling, the photographs transcend the frame, inviting the viewer into a realm of healing and awakening.

This selected work is an ode to the divine feminine, the resilience of our ancestors, and the ethereal stream of revelations embedded in our highest truth. It is a love letter to all that we are—radiant, powerful, and infinite.
