If these walls could mirror your reflection and speak to you by your actions, then perhaps you'd see how greatly you impact the world around you.

The objective of these photos is to make visible the beauty, love, & power deeply rooted within, but somewhere along the way we lost sight of our beauty, denied love, & lost control of the power that's innate.

           These days, the power instilled in us can be difficult to grasp. Ancient Egyptians were aware of the importance of women. Women had many rights & could even hold the rank of pharaoh.

Somehow, the fall of matriarchy and the rise of patriarchy has forced women in a position of inferiority. Although laws and legislations are now more open to the equality of both women and men, there is a slick mentality that underlines the values of society. I feel as if we've become so desensitized by what we filter our minds with that we lost sight of the bigger picture… 

Life is more then being subjected to a Man. 

Life is more then trying to look like the prettiest of them all.

Most certainly, your life is not depicted on how many likes you get on your Instagram.

These ethics may not be our intention, but we have the power to change these misconceptions. 

         Without a question, women consist of strength, power, & love. Everyone begins life in a woman’s womb, & is first loved by a her; it is without question, women encompass soul-sustaining qualities. 

We endure so much physical pain within our earthly existence, if you take a second to really think of how extraordinary femininity is, then there is no reason not to be in love with yourself and all woman.

  It begins within you!

 Besides, you can't spell Unity without the letter "U". :)

I don't know exactly where the separation amongst women stems from but thats a non-substantial feud.  It's clear that we're not perfect and classy isn't our middle name... But why strip one another of our confidence? Why attack our homes? What makes your complexion or ethnicity any worse or better then the rest? What are we competing for? What's so hard about putting a little love in our hearts?

 All it takes is a response out of love to either end a rivalry, or all in all, leave it behind you because you create your reality.

 To contest this disunion that I sense, we as women must take the time to love and nourish ourselves, once we do so, spreading love becomes second nature. How we view ourselves; physically, mentally, emotionally, & spiritually, trickles down to your loved ones and that energy of "being" is emitted into the lives of others as well.

An old friend of mine had this saying, “It can all be so simple.” It took me some time to fully grasp that but I get it now.

It can be as simple as treating others the way you'd like to be treated… Crazy, right?

But I'm so serious. You have the power to heal the world & bring change.

Whether you are a mother, aunt, grandmother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, or a stranger; keep in mind the qualities you share with your loved ones & those that surround you.

This is for us. To better us. To strengthen us. Because the power within us can change the Universe.

           So let us be; "She. Her. We."
